Farewell dear 2016
Can't believe we are already bidding farewell to 2016 .Time sure flies fast . Looking back at memories of 2016 , i would say it has been a lots of memories for me . Travelling to Nepal and being able to spend time with my friends and family has been really blissful . A bumpy ride to Mustang and experiencing a part of heaven behind the mountains has been a treasurous moment ( OH how i wish i could go back there right away ). Most of all, being able to watch my GRANNY's wise smile is always a pleasure ( I miss you ). Siblings always make your life adventurous, so do mine . All the thrills and adventures i ventured with you will always be close to my heart .

The feeling of growing old with each passing year does make me feel a little worried but also it keeps me aware of the fact that i have one less year in my life and i must make time for life  each and every passing day .2016 has taught me to believe in myself and strive for better future . I have learned the hard way to appreciate my flaws and work hard to better them . I am greatful to each and everyone out there who have lifted my spirits when i was sinking down and held my hands when i stumbled .

Anyway, treasuring all the happy moments and reminding myself every day is a new day and new opportunity, i wanted to part with 2016 with this black and white outfit post . I wore it on boxing day in a small gathering (yes i know the outfit not festive but you know last minute decisions , right?) .

A little Christmas treat to self

Christmas is here and everyone must be busy decorating and buying gifts .. Well i took this excuse  of Christsmas and bought myself this lovely Esteé Lauder Blockbuster Anglo Set . Wow , it was such a good package and a very good deal for the amount of money it cost .
I comes in a big bulky box (yea a very big box) and comes  with a pretty makeup case/ makeup bag which is also very big( which i intend to use for storage of my other stuffs) .Inside the bag the products are placed in a sturdy plastic case which takes much of the space (duh!) . But every cent you spend on this set is worth it. Lets have a look at the packaging and contents below.

-Deluxe pure color envy compact . This eyeshadow palette with highlighter,blush and contour powder (L to R /third row ) and a lovely red lipgloss included.
It makes a complete travel set,where you don't have to worry about carrying tons of stuffs,while this one palette has it all and can easily fit your handbag (yay!)

-2* Pure color envy sculpting lipstick (full size)
These are the prettiest shades you can imagine .A red for festive and a nude pink for daily use . a perfect combination . And they are super creamy and pigmented . Also they smell really nice (like the tutty fruity candy kind of you know).

The red shade 340. Flirtatious Magenta  comes with the eyeshadow palette and the other 110.Discreet Nude comes separate . But you could easily change lipgloss preference  in the palette according to your choice . Both of them have a hint of gold shimmers .

I have heard so many good reviews about it and finally my dull skin will be getting some repair . It actually smells herbal feels very lightweight when applied .

 Well, the name says it all .

Real Techniques love

Who doesnot love to own a couple of good makeup brushes ? I do love to own more than a couple of them . And let me tell you, i feel like the makeup brushes scream to me : "you need me" (seriously) .

If you are looking for some good makeup applicators/brushes you can never go wrong with Real Techniques ... the beautiful packaging , affordable price and the diversity makes it so desirable .
I own their core collection , blush brush , powder brush and sponge applicator . And i am very much of a fan of all these .

When i saw this limited edition Berlin collection , i had to own it too .It was so appealing with its colour, design and the content . I already own two of the brushes ( buffer and contour) .But i don't mind adding extra to my collection with this beautiful design. Had to wait a week long for my delivery but it was all worth the wait .
I am so excited to try the crease brush and shadow brush.
I am in love with it .

Cold days er here . And keeping myself warm is always a struggle. But i have been loving this Bomber jacket a lot lately . Warm , comfy and cozy, what more can you expect from a outerwear in cold weather.

Hi, How are you?
New month and new excitement is kicking in ..
The weather is cold but the joy of drinking Latte and Hot chocolate is very warm .
But it is not the only thing i am excited about. Let me tell this loud ..

I AM VERY PROUD TO OWN A PIECE OF GIGI.

Yes, i said GIGI , the beautiful Gigi Hadid.I love her so much. She recently launched her collection in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger and i swear all the pieces are BOMB. I instantly fell in love with this bag.It isvery pretty  and functional. The colour, the detailing (especially the hadware details in the front that spells both Gigi Hadid and Tommy Hilfiger with two stars on each corner) , the straps and the possibility to carry it on its own as a handbag , everything is so thought through .Oh did i mention the inner lining that spells Gigi all over? That is awesome. the sizing is decent and actually has a lot of space than i expected.It is called the mini trunk and the idea potrayed into reality is too beautiful. 

I am over the clouds right now and can't wait to use it excessively. TBG i am obsessed with it right now.

Shopping Haul

Hey ..
How are you?

One month of fall and the weather is already changing a lot. It is getting colder everyday. I am so busy with work that i can't keep track of my time . I was supposed to make this post like 2 weeks earlier but i just could not do it . I am so sorry if you had noticed.. As people say  Better late than Never, i am finally posting it .(PHEW!!)

This is gonna be a collective clothing haul from August and September .. i am not a crazy shopper but still like to shop  now and then . I am not the type who has like 'shopping day' and go buy bag full of stuffs. I just like to pick stuffs piece by piece every time i see something lovely.
Nevertheless,lets jump into what i bought .

I visited Belgium in August.So i am so happy that i could pick up some things from Breshka (in Meir). It is one of my favourite store to shop. Its so sad that we don't have Breshka in Norway 😔.

Anyway, i got this pair of basic bodysuit which perfectly matched my expectations. It is basic, neutral, not much flashy and the ripped detail is a bonus. I gravitated towards the black first (oviously). But once i tried the flesh toned/neutral tone, it was my love at first sight .

These two summer tops were screaming to me. The colours , prints and the light material is lovely . 

I also got this 2in1 one piece from Breshka . Grey skirt and white cropped tee attached to the shoulder. It is basic. But you could wear it in all different ways . It is light weight but it can be a great fall piece paired with some sweaters and knee high socks/boots. The following picture shows how i wore it during my visit to Brugge (Belgium).

This piece is the one i am exploiting a lot .

If you follow me on Instagram I am sure you have already seen me wearing this in a couple of my pictures. I love this jacket .It is BLACK,it has hood and it is perfect for fall . It is so easy to dress on top of basically anything and everything.

Fall is in and its getting Chilled(cold).So i bought this woolen sweater from Bikbok. It is so warm all by itself . Also i got this cropped (more like mid-waist) top from Bikbok as well. The print and the neck details caught my eyes . Since its time to wear warmer i thought why not add it to my closet . Also got me this pair of jeans from Lee. Isn't it cute ? Love the fact that in this pair i dont have to fold up or cut out the hem ( all the jeans come with long legs and  i always have to fix it ) .The zipper details makes it awesome .

Olivegreen and tan

I am trying my best to create a good content and i hope you will bear with me. 

For todays post it is going to be a OOTD i put together . 

The main piece for this outfit was my olive greenish jumpsuit.I got this lovely, sexy outfit from Zara. It could be worn as a lovely dinner date outfit but i decided to wear it casual for a day timelook. That is why i paired it with a vanilla/pink cropped top from monki . It made this outfit more day appropriate also making me less worry about showing too much skin.

And what could i better pair it with other than this lovely tan wedges with lace details and tassels, which screams summer from every possible angle.

And for handbag i went with a matching tan coloured handbag from Fiorelli . Lovely feminine bag with loads of space . And i feel like it helped to bring the whole outfit together .

Nude lips takeover .

Nudes were very popular last season and still are . But finding the right shade could be tricky .

I am tan skinned , with slightly pigmented lips . 

What might look gorgeous on others doesnot always work on me . So finding the right shade was quite a challenge . 

Nevertheless , i have always enjoyed playing with makeup . 

And now i am proud to say i have a small collection of everyday nudes that i love to bits.  If you are similar to my skintone /liptone , i hope this post can be of little help to you .

So following are what i own with swatches on my lips.

1.NYX :Liquid Suede in SOFT-SPOKEN (LSCL04)

This is my current favourite and everyday lipstick . The creamy suede texture feels so light and dries lovely on my lips. I could be wearing it with makeup on and on bare face and still it looks amazing. 

2.NYX: Soft Matte Lip Cream in CANNES (SMLC19)

This is the most popular line from NYX called soft matte lip cream.The shade is Cannes a little pinker than the above mentioned suede shade . But nothing extreme. Its a perfect shade for summer. And it smells so so good (trust me).

3.MAC : MIDIMAUVE (LUSTRE)

As you can see i almost hit the bottom of the tube. My first purchase from MAC and never regretted buying it . The colour is lovely , the texture is lovely and it feels like you have nothing on your lips when it gives that beautiful glow to your lips. I love it all time. If in doubt i always wear this colour and it does justice to any makeup . Since i have dry flaky lips, wearing most lipsticks (specially matte ones) can be tricky . But i don´t worry about my dry lips when i wear this beauty. Because of it´s lustre finish it is quite moisturising and keeps my lips hydrated . Love Love Love this lipstick . 

4.ISADORA: Perfect Moisture lipstick in HEATHER(15)

Many of you might not be familiar with this brand . But you will be surprised once you discover this brand . Its a swedish brand with wide range of beauty products.This is the moisture lipstick in shade HEATHER. and as it claims , yes it is moisturising and the colour is so beautiful. 

5.MUA MATTE : FAWN FANCY 

To all the lipstick lovers this is one nude shade you should have in your collection. Cheap price good quality and beautiful shade . what more can one ask for. MUA is a english makeup brand and this lipstick retails for only 1 pound in UK. Yes i said ONLY 1 POUND (go grab it if you are travelling in UK).It is a matte lipstick but not dry at all . it feels velvety and sits beautifully on my lips for hours. Also i love to apply a nude or a clear gloss on top which gives a nice nude glossy lip.

6.MUA: Lipliner in CARAMEL NOUGAT

This lipliner also retails for 1 pound and it is beautiful .I like to pair it with fawn fancy or with a nude gloss for that plump nude lips. price wise and product quality wise its so worth it .
