Man ka kura

You know the feeling of joy when it is your birthday and the Sun finally shines after days long of Clouds and Rain . The Sunshine made me feel blessed and happy for the day my mum went through the pain and introduced me to this world.

I have never been much of a party person. But i oviously spent my birthday well with my dear love and my dear friends. I just can't thank enough for my well wishers and my care givers. All of you have made my life thankful and joyful . And most of all you have made my life meaningful.

These are some glimpses of the day out in the lovely weather and yes the shirt reminds me of 10 years back from now when i uesd to be a school girl.I don't know why i just feel it makes me look much younger too (a good thing, NO? ) .

Time sure flies by.But i am thankful for all the good and bad moments spent by.
I have countless memories to treasure .

Watch :Only a fashion staple or a necessity ?

There was a time when granny generation used suns position and shadows to track daylight and time scheduling for day to day life  Functioning. Then came my parents time when wrist watch and clocks gave them the comfort  of tracking time with a quick look.
Today the new generation, including me, use their digital devices and various models of smartphones to track time ( or is it distract them from time ? ) . Anyway, how many of you still use a wrist watch not as a fashion statement but as a necessary accessory ? I bet the answers are very predictable. Watches these days are a fashion staple rather than a time teller . I might be wearing a wrist watch but please don't bother to ask me to check time on it as i am pretty unsure about having the needles on right place.Even better to not ask me when the daylight savings just changed and i forget to tune in the needles right. The smart phones have automatic feautures to set your time depending on your grographic placement, time zones and time of the year , that fixing time on your time on wrist watch is so much of a hassle.Don´t you agree?

But is that a bad thing? Mobile phones doing the job of your watches and you spending tons of money on branded watches just for a showpiece? I don't know , you let me know. All  i know is having a watch matched to my outfit or your jwellery gives me a sense of satisfaction and boost of confidence.

And i am very happy with my new possession . This beautiful two toned ,classic designed, elegant piece from Dkny has been my favourite  for the last two weeks . It seems to match with everything and is very easy to wear.It fills the space in my wrist and makes me feel a little more conscious and confident about my look. That doesnot mean you can come to me expecting for correct time reading. Even if you do, i am sure my first glance will be on the screen of my beloved iphone rather than the watch itself.

Denim on denim look

Hey guys , welcome to my new blogpost.
After a while i am back with a new post and this time as the title suggests, i am wearing denim on denim ..

Let me tell you i have never dressed double denim (unbelievable right?) , yes that's true NEVER.

But this light denim shirt from Zara is just tempting and so comfortable . The winged arms (Dolman sleeves) are just a wow factor and i had so much fun pairing it with my old loved Levis denim which has gone through a long journey of torture ( me ripping it again and again), to a point where i created a big whole and had to sew a denim patch over it ( oops!) .

And i am sure it was just the perfect day to wear this beautiful combo, on a sunny day strolling around the beautiful scenery of Snøraya .

If you have noticed you can see me rocking this black converse pair everyday everywhere .
It is just so easy to dress and goes with everything .

My sunnies are Burberry and they are perfect to hide my small hooded eyes.

Taking a stroll around while feeling comfy and chic was a moment to cherish and oh i forgot to mention how beautiful the feeling of summer felt for the first time this year .

Girls Rule, Ain't that True?

Hey ,
Long time since my last blogpost (OMG!)..

S O R R Y for being such a lazy ass.

Let me talk about the weather first. It has  started to get a little warm here in Oslo.Although the rain and the Sun have been playing hide and seek, i am just happy to finally be able to see the bright sunny longer days . I am just praying for no more snowy, rainy or windy days (fingers crossed!).
Eventhough the weather is warming up little by little, it is still cold in Oslo and you must always be prepared for it. Which  means you can not just let go of your outerwears just like that. But i am glad to be ditching my heavy coats and jackets for now and getting those light weight jackets out (excited to cleanup my closet and rearrange my closet for spring/summer soon) . Speaking of which, i had completely forgotten about this super hardcore girl-power pleather Biker Jacket which i bought a couple of months ago .
Biker jackets have been in fashion for quite a while now and i was always on a hunt for a  Leather pleather Biker jacket that i felt comfortable in . I tried a lot of them but i just could find one that i liked, until i found this one. I got this from Zara. What attracted me to this piece was the comfy baggy, almost manly appearance. But most importantly the writing on the back in bold white letters "GIRLS RULE". It gives me a sense of girl-power .It encourages me to believe in myself and believe in what i can possibly do if i put my heart and mind to it .I have never felt so powerful and motivated. The light weight feature is a plus point . The belt detail gives it that casual but not so casual bold appearance.

This has been my everyday staple for couple of weeks now and i don't think i will be placing it in the back row of my closet any soon .

Here is a peek of me rocking this easy but edgy piece .

Thank you so much for visiting me.I hope to see you with new post soon.
Enjoy Sun Enjoy Spring .
